Cover Crops function to reduce erosion, increase water infiltration, decrease water runoff, conserve soil water, increase organic matter, reduce compaction, reduce nitrate leaching, supply nitrogen to subsequent crops, and suppress weeds, as well as attract beneficial insects. The Arrow Seed company has formulated several different SOIL BUILDER cover crop mixtures for different crop rotations.
