Old Faithful Irrigated Grass Blend
The Old Faithful Irrigated Grass mixture is designed to provide season long production. Meadow Brome and Orchardgrass help the production of this mix during the summer months because of their heat tolerance while Smooth Brome and Garrison Creeping Foxtail excel during the cooler temperatures during the spring and fall.
The Old Faithful mix includes a late maturing variety of Orchardgrass which is very important in any irrigated grass blend to help the production by maturing around the same time as the other species in this blend.
This mix can be enhanced with up to 4 lbs/acre of Alfalfa.
Planting Rate:
17 lbs/acre- without Alfalfa
19-21 lbs/acre- with Alfalfa
