AGRIPRO VARIETIES:

AP503CL 2 AgriPro HRWW
New for 2009!  The only hard red winter wheat available with two genes for tolerance to the Beyond family of herbicides.  This means better weed control and better crop tolerance using the clearfield production system.  Expanded labeling for two gene wheats only, which allows additional adjuvants that improve weed control of tough grasses.

HAWKEN AgriPro HRWW
New for 2008!  Hawken has the drought tolerance and winter hardiness to fit a wide range of climates across the Central Plains.  It has one of the best disease packages available.  This, plus the core traits, means that it can perform in a wide range of rainfall areas and under irrigation.  It also fits no-till stubble programs well. 

ART AgriPro HRWW
New for 2008!    Art offers a complete agronomic package for producers who want an eairlier maturing variety.  Art  is best adapted to situations where a good overall disease package with high yield potential can produce maximumresults.  These traits, plus excellent standability, make it well suited for irrigation.

POSTROCK AgriPro HRWW

PostRock proved to be a very popular variety in its first year out.  Producers are impressed with its disease package and yield potential.  It has good drought tolerance for dryland situations and performs under irrigation. 


JAGALENE AgriPro HRWW

Jagalene is an excellent “all purpose” wheat which is widely adapted with very good winter hardiness.  It has excellent milling & baking quality and has top yields with fungicides.  


THUNDERBOLT AgriPro HRWW

Thunderbolt gives you outstanding dryland performance.  It is a  drought tolerant, disease resistant variety with 

excellent quality and Wheat Streak tolerance.


NuDAKOTA AgriPro Hard White Wheat

 This White Wheat is great for dryland production and has excellent yield potential and an excellent disease package.  Good mill and baking quality.


DUMAS AgriPro HRWW

Dumas has outstanding yield potential and test weights, excellent standability and good Foliar disease protection.  It has quick stand establishment and is excellent for irrigation and high moisture production. 


OGALLALA - AgriPro HRWW
Consistent yields with broad adaptation.  Can be grazed.

TAM 111 AgriPro HRWW
TAM 111 has been a consistent top performer in the West. It has the strengths needed for the high plains environment combined with excellent yield potential.

AGSECO VARIETIES:

ARMOUR Agseco HRWW

NEW in 2009!  Armour is a hard red winter wheat varietey that is broadly adapted to the Central Great Plains and features early maturity and excellent yield potential.  This variety offers exceptional straw strength, very good leaf rust resistance, and excellent tolerance to low pH soil conditions.  Armour is an "Impact" variety and should grow in popularity in all of Nebraska and Kanans, the northern half of Oklahoma, and eastern Colorado.


HITCH Agseco HRWW

This NEW medium maturing variety for 2010 planting displays excellent  overall leaf disease resistance, including tan spot.  It has excellent straw strength and holds winter dormancy well. Hitch is a good choice for continuous, no-till wheat if planted after Hessian fly-free date.


SANTA FE Agseco HRWW
Santa Fe is moderately resistant to stripe rust andresistant to leaf rust.  It's excellent yield potential and disease resistance make it one of the top variety selections for all of Nebraska and central and eastern Kansas.  Santa Fe also offers exceptional grazing potential.

SMOKY HILL Agseco HRWW
New for 2008!  Smoky Hill iw a hard red winter wheat best adapted to the wheat growing areas north of I-70.  Smoky Hill has good leaf rust and stripe rust resistance as well as soil borne disease protection.  It is a late maturing variety with excellent yield potential and baking quality.

PUBLIC VARIETIES:

Husker Brand Genetics CAMELOT HRWW

This NEW variety from Husker Genetics Brand  has a higher yield potential then Overland in the western half of Nebraska.  It has good winterhardiness, good protein, and has very good drought tolerance.


Husker Genetics Brand OVERLAND HRWW
Husker Genetics Brand OVERLAND PVP is a hard red winter wheat cultivar developed cooperatively by Nebraska Agricultural Experiment Station, the USDA-ARS and South Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station. Overland was named to honor the pioneers who crossed and stayed in the northern prairies. It has excellent dryland performance and is adapted to Nebraska, South Dakota, and the Northern Great Plains.

INFINITY CL HRWW

 Infinity CL is a good tool for weed and rye problem areas.  It is tolerant to IMI herbicides and has excellent dryland yields. 


MILLENNIUM HRWW
Millennium is a good choice for dryland production and is widely adaptedIt is Medium maturing and has medium height, very good tillering and is Hessian Fly resistant.

WESLEY HRWW
Moderately early maturing, moderately short height.  Excellent straw strength, good winterhardiness and good complementary variety.
