Cereal Rye

Rye is used for Grazing and for Hay and also is good for cover during the winter months.

When used for grazing it provides some short term fall grazing after October 15th with adequate fall moisture and early planting; spring grazing from about April 1 through May.

When used for  hay,cut in boot stage in late May to early June.

SEEDING DATE & RATE:  Aug. 15th through Oct. 1st; Seed 1 to 1.5 bu./acre
