Butterfly Milkweed

Butterfly Milkweed (Ascelpias Tuberosa) is a perennial native wildflower, that produces vivid orange blooms from June-August. A very attractive plant to not just Butterflies, but to other pollinators as well. Butterfly Milkweed prefers well drained soil in full sun. Butterfly Milkweed is one of the few milkweeds that do not produce a milky sap. Produces a very deep, woody tap root.
