Dotted Gayfeather is a native, perennial species that is a favorite among pollinating insects. Growing to a height of 1-2.5 feet, Dotted Gayfeather sports multiple purple blooms in late summer from July to September. A deep tap root that is capable of reaching depths of 7 feet make it a very hardy and drought tolerant flower.
